Life changes as we do. At different stages, we find ourselves facing anxiety, loss, relationship changes, loneliness, questions about identity or purpose, or simply wondering what comes next. I provide a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space to slow down, make sense of what you're carrying, and find a way forward.

I approach therapy from the understanding that emotional well-being develops within the context of our relationships, families, culture, communities, and social environment — not in isolation.
My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative, grounded in evidence-informed practice. Depending on your needs, that might mean EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, emotional regulation strategies, or a person-centered approach.
Rather than applying one method to everyone, we'll work together to understand what's actually contributing to what you're experiencing, and shape an approach around your goals, your experiences, and your strengths.

I provide LCSW psychotherapy and executive coaching in Downtown San Diego (near Little Italy) and La Jolla (in the Village) and Telehealth sessions throughout California. This flexibility allows you to select a setting that best meets your needs and situation.

Sometimes you know exactly why you're considering therapy. At other times, you may simply recognize that something doesn't feel right. You may feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, lonely, or uncertain about what comes next.
I work with adults across different stages of life, from young adulthood through later life. Together, we can explore what's happening now, better understand experiences and patterns that may be affecting you, and identify meaningful ways to move forward.
Therapy isn't about telling you how to live your life. My role is to listen, help you understand yourself more fully, offer clinical guidance when helpful, and work alongside you as you identify the changes that matter to you.

Sometimes you know exactly why you're considering therapy. Other times, you just know something doesn't feel right — you feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, lonely, or uncertain about what comes next.
Many men become accustomed to handling things on their own. You may be successful, responsible, and someone others depend on — while privately carrying stress, loneliness, relationship strain, grief, divorce, fatherhood challenges, anger, or uncertainty about what's next. Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you're used to being the one who handles things.
Therapy here isn't about being told how to live your life. It's a straightforward, non-clinical space to understand what's happening, work through what's been affecting you, strengthen the relationships that matter, and build steadier ways of responding to stress and change.
I work with men across adulthood — from early career through later life — and my role is to listen, offer clinical guidance when it's useful, and work alongside you as you figure out what you actually want to change.

Later adulthood can bring real growth, reflection, and clarity about what matters most. It can also bring real disruption — retirement, the loss of a spouse or longtime friends, changes in health or independence, shifting family relationships, caregiving responsibilities, or questions about identity and purpose after decades of a defined role.
I've worked with older adults navigating exactly these transitions: adjusting to life and identity after retiring from a long career, rebuilding routine and connection after losing a spouse, and working through strained or distant relationships with adult children. These moments deserve to be approached with respect, dignity, and real appreciation for the lifetime of experience each person brings into the room.
Our work may focus on grief and loss, anxiety, changing relationships, retirement, loneliness and social connection, caregiving stress, or finding renewed meaning and purpose.

Executive coaching is for professionals navigating major transitions — a career change, retirement, a shift in leadership responsibilities, or the ongoing balancing act of parenting alongside a demanding career.
Coaching here isn't therapy, and it isn't meant to be — it's goal-oriented and action-focused, aimed at measurable steps forward. But leadership challenges rarely show up in a vacuum. Isolation, strained relationships, grief, or unresolved stress often sit underneath the professional problem you came in with, and we won't ignore that just because the focus is on your goals.
Together, we'll clarify what you're actually working toward, identify what's getting in the way, and build a concrete plan — one that accounts for your whole life, not just your title.
